About Me
Contemporary artist trained at The Florence Academy of Art (USA & Italy) and Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, with a specialization in children’s illustration. My work has appeared in publications by the Etnollano Foundation and the International Cooperation Agency, and in books like Mapiripán, Complex Colombia, and Between Songs and Cries.
I created the monument in memory of “the 19 traders” in Bucaramanga, and collaborated with photographer Mads Nissen on White Blood a project exhibited across Europe. A collaborative work with the Piaroa Indigenous community is now part of the Patricia Cisneros Latin American Art Collection. Most recently, I’ve contributed illustrations for costume design to the Netflix series One Hundred Years of Solitude.
Over the years my practice has taken me into collaboration with indigenous communities, victims of violence, and truth-telling initiatives exploring memory, forgiveness, and reconciliation. These encounters, alongside exhibitions in Colombia, the U.S., and Europe, have shaped an art committed to meaningful dialogue and real human connection.
