Sangre Blanca is a collaboration between Danish photographer Mads Niessen and a Colombian artist, exploring the production, trafficking, and consumption of cocaine. Mads works from his perspective as a European reporter in Colombia, while the Colombian artist works from Copenhagen, Denmark. The first phase of the project involved the artist living in Denmark for two months, conducting research and creating 12 pieces that were later exhibited at the Arles Photography Festival in France in 2023.

In the second phase, the artists returned to their home countries and created new works for exhibition at various festivals and spaces in both Denmark and Colombia, including the Copenhagen Photography Festival for 2025.
